The project "Reforestation of Brač" was presented at yesterday's press conference in Super Konzum store in Dubrava. The project objective is the protection and preservation of Croatian forests as part of the International Year of Forests, 2011. The purpose of the joint project is the reforestation of burned areas of the island of Brač devastated in July this year, in order to assist the reconstruction and development of the forests of the island of Brač.
The project was presented by Ivona Janjić, Marketing Director at Konzum, Helena Grahovac, Sales Manager at Henkel Croatia and Željko Ledinski, Management Assistant at HŠ d.o.o. The value of the project "Reforestation of Brač" was recognized by the Ministry of Regional Development, Forestry and Water Management, under whose auspices the project is implemented.
With this project organizers aim to raise awareness of Croatian citizens about the need to preserve forests and their importance for human life. All citizens can be personally involved in the reforestation by purchasing the product Persil Expert at all Konzum stores in Croatia until January 15, 2011.
