Agrokor improved 11 places on Deloitte list of TOP 500 companies

Deloitte consulting and audit company published its list of 500 largest companies in Central Europe for 2015 and on it Agrokor is ranked 11th which is a significant improvement of 11 positions compared to previous year. The reason for such a significant improvement primarily lies in the acquisition of Mercator that will be fully consolidated for a whole year in Agrokor’s financial reports for the first time, but also in improved business results of other Agrokor Group member companies that contributed to the growth of overall revenue.

Within the report, Deloitte also published a separate ranking of the 50 largest companies in the Consumer business and transport category which places Agrokor, among all companies included in the report, at the 2nd place.

With EUR 6.4 billion in revenues, Agrokor is the highest ranking Croatian and Adria region company. Also positioned among the top 500 Central Europe companies are Agrokor’s retailers Konzum and the Mercator Group (through Poslovni sistem Mercator and Mercator Serbia).

On the list of 500 largest companies in Central Europe this year there are 40 companies from the Adria region of which there are 7 new ones and 4 less than during  the previous year. Slovenia still has the most representatives (17) on the Top 500 list from the region. Croatia has 13 and Serbia 7.
