ZAGREB, 3 February, 2011 – According to the "Best Buy Award" research carried out in the Republic of Croatia, that measures the satisfaction of buyers with the price to quality ratio, the companies belonging to Agrokor Group reached the largest number of leading positions - the largest number of "Best Buy Award" certificates for the year 2010/2011. Up until now, more than 300 categories were tested for Best Buy Award certificate for 2010/2011 in the segment of food, telecommunications, logistics, cosmetics, banking, insurance, high technologies, media, culture, etc. Within three hundred researched categories, Croatian citizens gave best marks to Agrokor's products and services in 20 categories, which is the number of leading positions that no other company or group in Croatia has managed to achieve. Agrokor's companies, products and services were graded by Croatian citizens in the independent Best Buy Award research for the year 2010/2011 as the ones that offer the best price to quality ratio in the following categories: 1. Chain stores that sell food and general necessities with the best price to quality ratio (Konzum) 2. Chain stores with discount prices with the best price to quality ratio (Konzum) 3. Sparkling water with the best price to quality ratio (Jamnica) 4. Still water with the best price to quality ratio (Jana) 5. Ice creams with the best price to quality ratio (Ledo) 6. Innovative Best Buy Award research The protected method of "Best Buy Award" research - DEEPMA was developed by the company Axios in cooperation with the world renowned audit and consulting organization PWC (PricewaterhouseCoopers). The "Best Buy Award" Certificate is given on the basis of special innovative "Best Buy Award" research carried out by the Market Research Center GfK – part of the GfK Group seated in Nurnberg, Germany. Best Buy Award – Based on international standards The "Best Buy Award" research is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the 'International Code on Market and Social Research' passed by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the World Society of Research Experts (ESOMAR). The basic aim of the Best Buy Award research is not only to get an insight on how the Croatian citizens perceive the product brands, services, manufacturers and vendors who are considered as the providers of the best price to quality ratio (so-called best buy) by the users, but also to get an insight of the opinion of those who are not necessarily the users, but have a relevant opinion on the basis of the experience of the people that are close to them. The aim of the "Best Buy Award" project and certificate is to help the buyers to find the best and most affordable products and services on the Croatian market.
