Ante Ramljak becomes receiver for Agrokor

After Agrokor's management requested the activation of the Law on Emergency Receivership in Systemically Important Companies, the Zagreb Commercial Court informed the Ministry of Economy and the Government of the Republic of Croatia appointed Ante Ramljak as trustee for Agrokor.

The Zagreb Commercial Court endorsed Ramljak's appointment after he was nominated for this post by the government, and the court also issued a moratorium on the instigation of claims, suits or administrative proceedings against Agrokor Group and its 24 companies.

Following a number of meetings with employees, partners, suppliers and creditors, Agrokor is now on the path towards full stabilization and normalization of business operations.

Ante Ramljak worked with the Investco brokerage from 1992 to 1996 and served as chairman of the board of the Croatian branch of the CAIB investment consultancy from 1997 to 2007. From 2007 to 2011 he was a partner at the Quaestus private equity fund, and from 2012 to 2014 he was a special adviser to Deputy Prime Minister for Economy and a member of the management board of the Energy Department at the Centre for Monitoring Energy Sector Business Activities and Investments.

He was a director at the Texo Management consultancy prior to assuming this duty.
