Collective Agreement Extension for Agrokor's Manufacturing Companies

Today at the premises of Podrum Belje, Ivica Todorić and union representatives signed an annex to extend the Collective Agreement for manufacturing companies within the Agrokor Group in which Agrokor is the majority holder. The Collective Agreement for all of the manufacturing companies in the Agrokor Group was extended today for a year, by the signing of an annex to the Collective Agreement. On behalf of Agrokor, the annex was signed by its president, Ivica Todorić. The signatories on behalf of the union were Josip Pavić, president of the PPDIV union, Robert Kotarski, president of HUS coordination, and Stanko Hanžek, main commissioner of the Belje Workers’ Union Association. The extension of the Collective Agreement is a sign of the continuation of the successful cooperation between the Union and Agrokor, confirming the acquired rights of the Group’s employees, such as private health insurance, recourse, holiday benefits, children’s presents, and rewards amounting to HRK 750 per employee whose company achieved planned profits. Furthermore, employee salaries were increased by 40 per cent for night shifts, 60 per cent for overtime work, 40 per cent for working on Sundays, 10 per cent for switching shifts and 15 per cent for working a double shift which includes a break of more than one-hour. Employees are also entitled to anniversary rewards. For 10, 15, 20 and 25 years of service they are granted one average Croatian salary. For 30 and 35 years of service they are granted one average Croatian salary increased by 15 per cent, while for 40 and more years of service they are entitled to two average Croatian salaries. Also, in case of occupational death, the company will compensate their children with HRK 1,500 a month until the completion of regular high school education. Agrokor is the first private company to sign a Collective Agreement with the unions. The first such contract was signed in 1996. Competent and satisfied employees are the foundation of Agrokor’s business success, as well as good and continuous dialogue with social partners.
