Since, pursuant to the Decision St-1138/17 of the Zagreb Commercial Court dated 10 April 2017, the procedure of Extraordinary Administration was initiated over Agrokor and its related and dependent companies in accordance with the Law for the Extraordinary Administration for Companies with Systemic Importance for the Republic of Croatia, all creditors were called upon to register their claims to the Extraordinary Trustee within 60 days after the Decision was published, starting on 10 April 2017 until 9 June 2017.

On 9 June 2017, the legal time frame of 60 days expired for companies listed in the Decision of the Zagreb Commercial Court dated 10 April 2017. “During the previous period we received a total of 9,864 claims. Thus far, we received 8,038 packages of which many include several claims registrations. The process included a great number of creditors who registered their claims in accordance with defined procedures and forms and many of them did so after harmonizing individual claims with Agrokor’s companies included in the Extraordinary Administration process. Additional claims registrations for companies with June 9 2017 deadline are expected during this week if they were sent via mail or other courier services and if they have a valid shipment date.” said Marta Bogdanić, Executive Director from Agrokor.

During the previous month creditors could read the additional call to harmonize open items with debtor companies on Agrokor’s webpage as well as the call to register their claims as soon as possible, in order to avoid possible difficulties during submission in the last days. Also, creditors communicated with the claim registration team to receive instructions about claim registration activities.

All received claims are registered, scanned and digitalized as part of preparation for their further processing and validation with companies. There are currently approximately fifty people working on this process. Agrokor’s database of claims will include all pertinent information for further processing of claims. The processing deadline is 60 days, after which total amounts of claims will be published on the e-board of the Commercial Court.

Additional claims are expected for related and dependent companies listed in the addendum to the Decision of the Zagreb Commercial Court dated 21 April 2017, and the deadline for these claims is 20 June 2017.
