Konzum BiH opens Super Konzum Borik store

The store offers more than 35.000 products and 5.000 innovations, and is the first store in Bosnia and Hercegovina to offer smart shopping carts

Banja Luka now has a world class store – a refurbished Super Konzum Borik that is an example of a truly modern shopping concept, as could be seen at the opening ceremony.

Super Konzum Borik is a store that fulfills wishes of even the most demanding customers and offers more than 35.000 products and 5.000 innovations. The investment in Super Konzum Borik amounts to 2,5 million KM and the leading idea was perfecting the store business concept and increasing customer satisfaction.

„Today, we made a pearl in Banja Luka, which is the third store of this kind, following those in Zagreb and Ljubljana, and surely it belongs among the best in Europe with its technology and appearance. Shoppers, from now on will have the best eco groceries available, and the fruit and vegetables department appears like a marketplace and offers the finest from nature. The fruit and vegetables shelves of Super Konzum Borik keep a special place for tropical fruits, while the international cuisine department prepares delicacies from all over the world. Dedication to customers is visible in every department – the improved bakery where shoppers can see for themselves how pastries are baked in specialized ovens, or at a specifically designed spices department that allows the customers to meet the tastes of other cultures. The delicatessen department offers a rich selection of more than 120 types of noble cheeses and numerous dry meat delicacies. The store also offers wines from 70 wine houses from all over the world and more than 100 different types of craft beers from 13 different countries.

“We have worked hard for several months on preparations to refurbish the store’s interior and creating a special shopping experience – hundreds of people were involved in the process. Several top architects worked with great dedication to transform this space into an ornament of Banja Luka. Our refurbished store offers numerous novelties and what’seven more important is that we have increased the number of employees from 74 to 130 and broadened the product assortment on or shelves.”, highlighted Tomislav Bagić, managing director of Konzum in Bosnia and Hercegovina.
