PIK mortadella has been produced according to traditional recipes and technological procedures originating from the homeland of mortadella – Italy. We have learned the recipes and the procedures from old Italian experts that we have been working with on the production of mortadella in our factory.
According to the traditional Italian recipe, mortadella is made of select pork, supplements, seasonings and high quality flavour. The aroma of mortadella is preserved throughout its shelf life through the specific vacuum packaging, where the product is taken out of its packaging just before cutting into slices, thus keeping its aroma and pleasant savour. Select flavours as well as special methods of raw material processing supervised by the experts from PIK Vrbovec, guarantee a high quality product, due to its quality considered to be the queen of semi-durable sausages.
