New Additions to the Agrokor Management Board

Today, the Supervisory Board issued a decision on appointing two new members to the Agrokor Management Board.
As of 1 March 2008, Mr Damir Kuštrak will take on the position of Agrokor’s Executive Vice President in charge of foreign markets, and Mr Ivan Crnjac, current Executive Director in charge of strategy, will assume the position of Executive Vice President in charge of strategy, mergers and takeovers.
Damir Kuštrak was born in 1956 in Koprivnica. He graduated from the Faculty of Engineering in Zagreb where he obtained a degree in Civil and Structural Engineering. He also received an MSc from the Faculty of Agriculture in Zagreb. He began his career working on Convest Inžinjering projects in Zagreb from 1983 to 1985. From 1985 to 1990, he worked as a research associate at the Institute for Mechanisation, Technology and Construction in Agriculture and after that from 1990 to 1994 as an assistant lecturer at the Faculty of Agronomy in Zagreb. From 1994 to 2000, he worked as Senior Executive Vice President in charge of operations and marketing at Agrokor. In the period from 15 February 2000 to 15 December 2003, as a member of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, he performed the duties of Deputy Finance Minister. Since 2004, he has been President of the Medika Management Board and a chairman of the Croatian Employers’ Association.
Ivan Crnjac was born in 1977 in Zagreb. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb, and received his MBA degree from the IEDC Bled School of Management. He started his career at CAIB where he assumed different positions related to regional transactions including numerous projects concerning privatisations, mergers and takeovers. He joined Agrokor in 2005 as Executive Director in charge of strategy.
