PIK VRBOVEC achieves ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 certificates

After the process of introducing certificates was completed yesterday, PIK Vrbovec, the largest meat company in Croatia, has started implementing the integrated system of environmental management according to the requirements of the ISO 14001:2004 international norm and quality management system under the ISO 9001:2000 international norm. By doing so, and after the audit on certification carried out by the foreign company Bureau Veritas, PIK Vrbovec has added another two internationally recognized quality certificates to its portfolio of existing certificates of high business standards and quality control of its products, including the export number HR 10, HACCP implementation and continuous veterinary control and monitoring. The above-mentioned valuable certificates additionally confirm that PIK Vrbovec meets high standards in environmental protection and quality and responds to all the modern challenges arising from market trends. The integrated management system of PIK Vrbovec is geared to reducing all kinds of pollution and permanent improvement programmes at all levels. By meeting norms required for achieving the certificate, the meat company PIK Vrbovec at the same time conducts its business in line with the high requirements and regulations of the European Union and the world market.
