Sponsorship Contract between Agrokor and the Croatian Tennis Association signed

The Croatian Tennis Association and Agrokor held a press conference on the occasion of signing a Contract which will continue their successful co-operation. Mr Radimir Čaćić, president of the Croatian Tennis Association, signed the Sponsorship Contract on behalf of the Association and Mrs. Ljerka Puljić, Senior Executive Vice President for Strategic Business Groups, on behalf of Agrokor.

Sponsorship Contract between Agrokor and the Croatian Tennis Association signedThe Contract establishes that Agrokor, that is, the members of the Group Jamnica and Ledo, will continue their partnership in the forthcoming period in the status of General Sponsor of the Croatian Tennis Association and Team Sponsor of the Davis/Fed Cup Team. The Contract is concluded for 2009, representing the fourth year of co-operation on the development of Croatian tennis. Both sides have recognised their common interest and motive for affiliation. As a socially responsible company, Agrokor allocates a large portion of funds for the development of Croatian sport and for supporting young and talented athletes, especially those who have contributed to the world promotion of Croatia, thus demonstrating that sports and the top results of Croatian athletes, in addition to the great potential in the creation of new sports stars and the systematic caring for young talents, is one of the most significant fields where Agrokor participates by way of support.

Sponsorship Contract between Agrokor and the Croatian Tennis Association signedThe first indoor ITF tournament to be held from December 1 – 6, 2009 at the courts of the National Tennis Centre, address Joszefa Antalla no number (North-east side of the Zagreb Fair) was announced at the press conference. The competition is organised for junior players (18 and under), and their results will be scored for the official ranking published by the International Tennis Federation (ITF), the same ranking won by all the best world players. The last Croatian player with high ranking was Marin Čilić, who ranked the world's top junior player at the beginning of 2006.
