TEN PER CENT SALARY INCREASE FOR EMPLOYEES OF THE AGROKOR GROUP IN THE YEAR 2002
Dec 17, 2001
The tariff part of Agrokor's Collective Agreement signed by Ivica Todorić, President of the Agrokor Group, Ana Knežević, President of the Labor Union of Trade and Josip Pavić, President of the Labor Union of PPDIV (Food Industry, Agriculture, Tobacco Industry and Water Resources Management), brings a salary increase of ten per cent for employees of the largest private company in Croatia as of January 2002. By the decision to increase salaries Agrokor has once again confirmed to be one of the best and socially most sensitive employers in the country, and one of the most reliable partners of the labor unions, as recently stated by the President of SSSH (Federation of Independent Labor Unions of Croatia) Davor Jurić. The Collective Agreement of the Agrokor Group is, according to the opinion of the Labor Unions, one of the best in the country, and provides, amongst others, the right to a holiday cash grant and a Christmas bonus for the employees, which are paid out regularly. The Agrokor Group was the first private company in Croatia to sign the Collective Agreement with the labor unions. This first Collective Agreement of Agrokor was signed in 1996.
