Two Croatian Wines Awarded Silver by Monaco Women

Femmes et Vins du Monde took place in Monaco on April 22 and 23, where over 250 wines from around the world were evaluated. This competition is held for the fourth time and specificity is that the jury consists of women only. They are not just enologists and sommeliers, but also wine makers, wine sellers, journalists or simply wine lovers, and they come from 21 countries.
Agrolaguna’s Cabernet Sauvignon Rose 2009 and Gewurztraminer selected grape harvest 2007 from Iločki podrumi won silver medals in fierce competition. After wine tasting and testing, members of the jury evaluated appearance of the bottle and the label and packaging of Gewurztraminer selected grape harvest 2007 from Iločki podrumi won the silver medal. Cabernet Sauvignon Rose 2009 is a high-quality wine of lively pink color, fresh and seductive fruity fragrance with notes of strawberry and raspberry. It has elegant and soft taste, light body and as such is a perfect refreshing wine for summer delight. Gewurztraminer selected grape harvest 2007 is a supreme quality, predicate wine of ultra premium series from the vineyards of Srijem. It is characterized by a well-pronounced bouquet and Gewurztraminer variety flavor.
