Vina Laguna delights wine connoisseurs in Korea

Gold and Silver medals awarded to Vina Laguna at the international wine competition Korea Wine Challenge 2015.
In a competition with 705 wines from 20 countries at the international competition in Korea, the judges were delighted with red wine Vina Laguna Festigia Castello 2012 and awarded it with a gold medal, while Vina Laguna Festigia Riserva Malvazija Vižinada 2013 won the Silver medal.
Vina Laguna Festigia Castello continues to receive awards in numerous competitions worldwide. This champion wine is a blend of Merlot and Syrah varieties, and this harmonious unity results in an aroma of mixed berries, with a note of pepper and oak and a silky taste with a lasting aroma. Castello is usually served with beef, carpaccio and tartar steak along with the finest Istrian truffles.
Vina Laguna Malvazija Festigia Riserva Vižinada 2013 was already awarded with gold medal in the world’s largest wine competition Mundus Vini 2015. held in Germany. It is a sophisticated dry white wine with crystal green and yellow color, a specific fruity-flowery aroma given by citrus fruits, stone fruits and acacia honey. It treats the taste buds with a lasting, complex and elegant taste, with its always smooth, fresh and rich aroma. It is best served with pasta and risotto appetizers, truffle appetizers, white meat, fish and sea food.
Winning new international medals is an extension of great results that Vina Laguna red and white wines have accomplished in numerous domestic and international competitions.
These worldwide achievements are a result of strong efforts for continuous improvement of Vina Laguna quality made by a young team of oenologists lead by chief oenologist Milan Budinski.
