Agrokor - a Star on the International Capital Market Great News for Croatia

By tapping the existing Senior Note issue from December 2009 with a 10% coupon due 2016 in the amount of €150m today with a 8.04% yield, Agrokor again successfully refinanced its short-term debt and improved its overall maturity profile by increasing the share of long-term facilities in the total debt to as much as 90%. The aggregate level of the company's debt has not been increased by this issue. As with the original 2009 Note the Joint Bookrunners of this issue were BNP Paribas and Unicredit/Zagrebačka banka while the Co-Managers of the deal were Raiffeisen Bank International Aktiengesellschaft, Privredna banka Zagreb (a member of Intesa Sanpaolo), Erste Group and Societe Generale.

Although the issue was originally planned to amount to €100m, due to the exceptionally strong interest of the world's leading investors and an oversubscription exceeding the required amount by as much as 7 times, Agrokor decided to increase the amount to €150m with the overall issue together with the exisiting Senior Note from 2009 now amounting to € 550m. "Following the recent improvement of our rating outlook by the world's leading Rating Agencies, today's issue is yet another strong recognition of Agrokor's strategy. What gives us particular pleasure, though, is the fact that such strong investor interest for a company from this region also shows that the global investor community holds the firm belief that not only Agrokor, but the whole of Croatia and the region where the company operates has an excellent perspective, which is great news for the regional economy", said Mr. Ivica Todorić, President of the Agrokor Group.
