Epica Award for Jana’s love story

World media representatives have decided – Jana’s story of eternal love between Malena and Klepetan wins silver at Epica awards

Following the Cannes bronze lion and the Golden Drum Grand Prix in Ljubljana, Jana receives another global recognition

Jana’s campaign “Malena and Klepetan” (Wings of love) and Imago agency won a prestigious silver award at the Epica Awards international competition, the only creative award where the jury is composed exclusively by media representatives who are dedicated to advertising and communications. The 30th Epica Awards ceremony, where the Croatian company won silver in category Online campaign for food and drinks, was held in Amsterdam.

On this occasion, Iva Balent, executive director of marketing in Agrokor said:

“The third global recognition in a row that was awarded to the campaign Malena and Klepetan definitely marked the year 2016 as the most successful for Jana Water with a message so far. The emotions brought by this campaign were transformed into beautiful awards that we are proud of and cooperation with our agency Imago received another stamp of quality. I thank once again my entire team for creating this unique story of love that has touched our consumers as well experts from around the world.”

The pre-selection jury comprised of 100 journalists from around the world, and then the grand jury, in a strong competition between 3.806 works from 66 countries, decided to award Jana’s campaign signed by Imago Ogilvy agency.

“We are especially pleased with Epica Award for two reasons: because this is the first Epica for Imago and because we were selected by an objective journalist jury. When creative persons award each other it can sometimes mean there’s an expert view on things, removed from reality. But, when you receive an award from expert journalists who monitor advertising around the world, then it is an objective assessment. I can promise that Jana and Imago surely won’t stop here and that the story of infinite love flies on.” said Igor Mladinović, chief creative director in Imago Ogilvy agency.

The Epica competition was founded in 1987. It is special because of its independent expert approach and global media coverage. Epica was started as the first advertising industry competition in Europe and today is the international recognition of creativity that attracts thousands of applications from more than 70 countries.
