Mirko Galić new Advisor at Agrokor

As of 1st January, 2013 Mr. Mirko Galić joined Agrokor in the position of Advisor to the President.

For many years Mr. Galić worked as a journalist for „Vjesnik“ and served as correspondent of the daily newspapers Vjesnik and Večernji list, as well as Croatian Television and Croatian Radio from Paris (overall 14 years in the periods from 1980 to 1984 and from 1988 to 1998). From 1985 to 1988 he was Editor-in-Chief at the weekly „Danas“ and in 2000 Editor-in-Chief of the weekly „Globus“. From 2000 to 2007 he was Managing Director / Chief Executive of the Croatian Radio and Television. From 2007 to 2012 he went into diplomacy and served as Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to France, UNESCO and Monaco.

Mr. Galić holds the journalists' Lifetime Achievement Award, was conferred a number of decorations by the state and is the author of several books.
