mStart and SAP organized SAP Hybris Day

The SAP Hybris Day was held in Zagreb, organized by SAP Croatia and mStart. The event named “Technology – the foundation for digital marketing” was attended by experts from sales and marketing and key subjects were the expectations on user experience in 2020, consumer expectations of brands in digital surroundings and how to digitalize business operations.
Opening speeches were held by Hrvoje Veselko, sales director in mStart, who reviewed mStart’s experiences with implementing SAP Hybris and Sanja Popović, managing director of SAP Croatia who highlighted the advantages that SAP Hybris tools bring in analysis and creating personalized offers.
Hrvoje Kujundžić, development director of Abrakadabra project and Hrvoje Ljubičić, e-trade director in mStart, talked about Abrakadabra online mall.
Kujundžić highlighted that the development of Abrakadabra is based on SAP software solutions and that various SAP services are present in almost every segment of Agrokor’s business operations. Abrakadabra uses SAP Hybris platform because it was recognized as a solution that sets a new standard in user experience and allows Abrakadabra to focus on user satisfaction.
Speaking of Abrakadabra’s advantages, they emphasized a wide product assortment, loyalty program and diverse payment methods, such as “on delivery”, that are important to domestic users. Ljubičić said:” Basically, our vision was to create an online marketplace that connects both online and physical suppliers with customers. Of course, all of this is accompanied by advantages such as robust logistics and a wide selection of payment methods as well as a loyalty program.”
Andrea Svilokos, Konzum’s head of digital marketing participated in a panel aimed at explaining what marketing will look like in year 2020 followed by a discussion on the role of marketing in communication with the consumers. “In five years from now the generations that grew up with the internet will have a much higher purchasing power. From a company’s perspective it is very important to monitor the market and test new things, in order to recognize what works.” said Svilokos.
